4 injured in Ohio car accident

Categories: Uncategorized

Car accident happens for a variety of reasons, such as one driver making a poor mistake that puts another in harm’s way. According to police, a Chevrolet Camaro driven by a 16-year-old male was attempting to pass a vehicle when it crashed head-on with an oncoming vehicle. As a result, four teenagers were injured, one of whom is in serious condition.

A 17-year-old girl driving a Chevrolet Impala was taken by air to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for treatment. She was in critical condition after surgery. It took the Concord Township Fire Department approximately 45 minutes to remove the girl from her vehicle. Fortunately, a helicopter was able to land close by and immediately transfer her to the hospital.

In addition to the driver of the Impala, three other teens were injured. A passenger in the Camaro, as well as a passenger in the Impala, were both taken to TriPoint Medical Center. The driver of the Camaro initially stated that he did not need treatment, but was eventually taken to TriPoint as well.

At this time, police do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. That being said, the driver of the Camaro may be cited for going left of center or improper passing.

These are the types of Ohio car accidents that should never happen, as attempting to pass a vehicle without enough space can have serious consequences. The injured parties are now faced with treatment, as well as the question of how they will handle any financial implications in the future.
