Ohio wrong-site cancer radiation lawsuit settled for $200K

The University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) recently settled a lawsuit brought by a patient who claims the hospital performed radiotherapy to the wrong parts of her body. The plaintifff, who was suffering from cervical and endometrial cancer, will receive $200,000 but UTMC has not admitted any wrongdoing. Wrong-site surgeries
