1 killed, others injured in Ohio car accident

In the event of a multi-car accident in which there are multiple people involved, the chance of somebody being injured or killed is greater.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, an Ashland University student died at MetroHealth Medical Center after being involved in a car accident the night before.

According to reports, four students were riding in a car that drove through a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck.

Police noted that the man who passed on was in the backseat of the car being driven by a 20-year-old woman. The driver was listed in serious condition following the accident, along with two others. All three were flown to a Cleveland area hospital for treatment.

The 56-year-old driver of the pickup truck, along with a 55-year-old passenger, were also injured in the accident. The driver of the truck was listed in fair condition, while his passenger was later released from the hospital after receiving treatment.

Ohio car accidents can be a result of many actions. In this case, it appears that the driver of the car ran through a stop sign, which led to the collision with the pickup truck. Unfortunately, the collision was too serious for everybody to survive, with one of the backseat passengers killed as a result. Along with this, five people, three in one car and two in the truck, were treated for injuries.

As is the case with many vehicle accidents, this one may have been avoided if the driver of the sedan would have yielded at the stop sign.
