6 injured in two car accident in Ohio

Even if you have never been involved in a car accident in the past, there is always the chance that this could happen in the future. In some cases, an accident is the result of a negligent driver.

On Saturday, May 3, 2014, a car accident in Ohio injured six people.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old woman was driving her Subaru when she neglected to yield at a stop sign. As a result, she crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Quarry Road and Ohio State Route 18.

The woman driving the Subaru, as well as four passengers in her car, were taken to Cleveland Metro Hospital for the treatment of injuries. The passengers in the car that was struck were taken to Mercy Allen Hospital.

At this time, police do not believe that alcohol played a factor in the accident, however, they continue to investigate in the hope of determining an exact cause.

Some Ohio car accidents are more serious than this one, with many being killed, while some are less serious, with nobody being injured. That does not change the fact that this story shows what can happen when one person breaks the rules of the road.

When a woman failed to stop as directed, she put herself, her passengers, and those in another car in harm's way. The end result was six people being injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Had the woman driving the Subaru been paying attention to the road, she may have stopped when directed, thus avoiding the accident altogether.
