The Donahey Law Firm

Every day, there are car accidents in the state of Ohio, with some leading to serious injury and even death. According to the Montville Police Department, a 16-year-old Bath resident was killed in a head-on collision. Three others were injured in the accident, including two passengers in the deceased woman’s car as well as the driver of the other vehicle.

Police said that a 26-year-old man was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee on River Styx Road at 10:22 p.m. when he crossed the center line. As a result, his vehicle collided head-on with the one driven by the 16-year-old girl.

According to a member of the police department, the girl died at the scene. The two people in her vehicle both suffered life-threatening injures, with the driver of the Jeep being seriously injured as well. All three of the injured parties were flown from the scene to local hospitals for treatment.

As a result of the accident, the Montville Police department, along with multiple fire departments and a Life Support Team, responded to the scene. The road was closed for an extended period of time as the victims were freed and the authorities investigated the accident. No charges have yet to be filed.

Some Ohio car accidents are more serious than others, and in the most extreme cases one or more people are killed. In the event that a person is injured in an accident, or a loved one is killed, the victim, or victim’s family, may wish to file a legal claim. This is often possible even if police have yet to file charges.
